Group Camp 2020 1 March 2020 | By user All sections in the group will have the opportunity to attend our Group Camp 12th-14th June 2020! We’re off to Fordell Firs for the weekend. Our Beavers will be indoors with our Cubs, Scouts and Explorers enjoying the great outdoors camping! All sections will receive more details in due course.

Summer Family Fun Day 2018 11 June 2018 (updated 9 August 2021) | By user Summer Family Fun Day Saturday 16th June 2018 11am-2pm Facebook Event Link Our fundraising committee have the annual family fun day planned and it’s this Saturday! But as always we need your support to make the event a success. On the day there will be lots of activities including: Face Painting Hook the Duck Bouncy Castle Candy Stall Popcorn BBQ Stocks Raffles Balloon Artist With many more activities and prizes to be won! It’s always a great day for everyone involved. See you on the day to raise funds for your child’s scouting adventure. Friends, family and local community all welcome and encouraged to come along. Leaders Climb 19 March 2018 (updated 9 August 2021) | By user At the weekend 5 of our leadership team Mark, Bruce, Stuart, Alex and Mark II joined the Clyde hills team on an adventure to Binnein an Fhidhleir in the Arrochar Alps. It was a snowy day with so harsh winds but a great day was had by all with plenty of new skills learned by all. Are you up for the adventure? Auchengillian Jamborette 8 August 2017 (updated 9 August 2021) | By user 26 Scouts, 6 Explorers and 4 Leaders had a great week at Auchengillian. There was a huge variety of activities for our young people to take part in from zorbing to hill walking there was something for everyone. The rain over the week did not stop us having a great time!
District Camping Competition Winners 2017 14 May 2017 (updated 9 August 2021) | By user Six of our fantastic Scouts took part in the Calder District Camping Competition at Barrword this weekend. They were tested on various skills from map reading to cooking. We are very please to announce they came in first place! A huge well done Scouts, great achievement. Well done to all the patrols who took part in the event and thanks to all the leaders who made the event possible!

Kiltwalk 2017 4 April 2017 (updated 9 August 2021) | By user Donna McGhee will be undertaking the 23 mile Kiltwalk from Glasgow to Balloch on the 30th April. Donna is raising money in aid of your Scout Group, have a click on her page and give a donation to help support the group and show Donna some support in undertaking the 23 mile walk! Every penny donated is given straight to the group with no additional charges.
