Fordell Firs November 2014

   |   By

19 Scouts, 16 Cubs, 5 Beavers hit Fordell Firs at the weekend! Throughout the weekend the weather held out and stayed dry – but cold!

As always there was many activities on offer Archery, Caving, Pedal Karts, Grass Sledging, Climbing Wall and as always “there was a crazzzzzzzzzyyyyy MOOSE” can’t have a camp without some campfire songs!

Everyone had a blast!

Next up for the Cubs is our Sleepover and Pantomime visit (oh yes it is) in December!

Meggernie October 2014

  |   By

Cubs on Tour hit Meggernie at the weekend! After a never ending 2 hour bus journey, 12 Cubs and 3 happy leaders finally saw light at the end of the road, we had arrived in Meggernie!

The Cubs had a blast over the weekend. They got to take part in archery, orienteering, traversing wall, blind trail (which was too scary for Mairi to even join) and of course, a camp would not be complete without a campfire.

With a 2 hour drive home, we stopped in Callander for lunch and some time in the play park. Although, the leaders seemed to have more fun than the young people in the park.

With that, we were on the road back to Costa del Coatbridge.

Next up Fordell Firs in November. Here we, here we, here we Scouting go! #cubsontour
